Off Leash Dog Complaints

Hey fellow trail dog owners,

Can you please make an effort to keep your dogs on leash until you get to
the trails. We got a call from a neighbor last week saying folks are riding
on Galbraith Lane with their dogs off leash a bunch and, worse yet, not
picking up their dog crap. When the neighbor recently said something to a
biker, they got a really rude response.

If your dog takes a crap on the road, pick it up and throw the bag away at
the kiosk. It's a five minute bike ride past the gate to either kiosk
garbage cans. Of course, this goes for the north side as well.

Last, if you see your dog take a sh!t on the mountain, at the very least,
scoop it off the road or trail. As a fellow trail dog owner, I take a few
seconds to make sure no one is gonna run over my dog's crap with their tires
or shoes.

I'm honestly not trying to pimp anyone's product, but we got this for our
dog <http://www.myraddog.com/> at Backcountry Essentials for the short
distances where we need to have him leashed. We've used this a ton in
Whistler as well and it works great when you don't want to carry a separate
leash around.

Thanks for the help on this. No sense in upsetting the neighbors who have
to deal with us on a daily basis.

Cheers,
EB
